What do we do?

We have experienced first hand that many companies face succession issues and that there is no natural buyer of the business while these companies often have a compelling service or product, strong market position and runway for growth.

Similarly, we have seen how many talented operators with owner ambitions lack the capital and the knowledge to acquire a company. We provide the MBI candidates with the required financing, industry relationships and knowledge for how to acquire the company and deliver value creation.

Seqos participates in the financing of the acquisition and draws on additional capital from likeminded investors who we have a long-standing relationship with and are often experienced in the relevant industries.

Oliver holds a MSc. Physics from ETH Zurich and started his career as a consultant at Bain & Company. Thereafter he was responsible for the consumer headphone business at Sennheiser (€300m P&L responsability). Before becoming Seqos’ first CEO in Residence he worked at Mutares (PE) as Head of Operations. Only 5-months after partnering with Seqos, Oliver acquired EQ Photonics and transitioned into the CEO role.

Konstantin holds an MSc. in Industrial Engineering from RWTH Aachen and Tsinghua University. He started his career as a Technology Manager at Audi and then moved on to become a Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he was focused on operational improvements. In his latest positon he was the COO of Aitme, a Robotics company. Konstantin is currently looking to acquire a business with Seqos and open to relocate.

Tobias holds an MSc. Mangement from Duke Unvierstiy and Rotterdam School of Management. He started his career at the Reimann Family office as an Investment Associate building up their PE/VC team. In his latest postion he was the Chief Business Officer at UserCentrics (250 FTEs) where he was instrumental in scaling up the business. Tobias is currently looking to acquire a business in the DACH-region.

Adrian is a Managing Partner of Seqos. He grew up in an entrepeneurial family and worked at Earlybird and K-Fund as well as multiple technology firms. He is covering everything related to HR, Business Development and Value Creation at Seqos.

Jonas is a Partner of Seqos. He underwent Investment Banking training at J.P. Morgan and spent three years at H.I.G. capital working on Small-Cap Private Equity transactions. Jonas acts as a sparring partner to the Seqos MBI candidate’s with everything transaction related.
